Speaking horse-wise, a charger of the noble steed type could take out a little punk of a colt any day.
Let's hope (and pray) it holds true tonight, people-wise.

It did!
Now we have to look ahead at the Steelers...in Pittsburgh...tough game.
We always seem to lose to them in the playoffs...Let's hope that we'll break that trend.

Yes! Sproles has been fast and amazing! Let's hope he'll continue to be such!

I think you'll get your wish! L.T., though, I think he's out...again...

Aye, and that's a bummer. I wonder if there's any hope for a miraculous recovery...?

I'm hoping to have some new Pajo art after WonderCon 2009. I specifically am feeling the need for a new Malluk Dominer sketch! One *after* he loses his hand...

When did he lose his hand..... I really have to read Pajo again - I can't remember much of what happened. ;D

It went something like:
"With the smoke from the fire that gathered all around the ceiling and filled his lungs, Malluk braced himself. He tightened his grip on his knife and set his mind to the ghastly course of work that he knew must be done."
Something like that...

Ooh, yeah. Icky. I had forgotten about that. But you're probably paraphrasing, right?

...ummm...probably...
If you want, I could probably paraphrase the part where he performs a fasciotomy in his study at the end of the book...

The.......what?

You know...the part where he uses his knife to cut away the dead burned tissue? (that's actually debridement). And then he cuts lengthwise into the living tissue to allow for edematous swelling? (that's a fasciotomy). And all without anesthesia...
(no wonder he's so upset at Pajo...)

I'd be pretty ticked, too. But wouldn't anesthesia make him go all foggy and not able to do the slicing and dicing? I think one would one to be conscious for that.....

Yeah. There was a short story by Stephen King about a doctor who crashed on a deserted island...okay...I'll stop there...
(Eeeeewwww!...)
