I picked up the book at Wondercon '08 on Friday, the 22nd.
I began reading the book last Saturday and finished it today. I was pleasantly surprised by how good the book was. I haven't been this intrigued with a story since Stephenson's Snow Crash.
I really cannot wait for the next book to be out.
Any ideas as to when that will be?

Hey, welcome to the forum! Honestly mate, we (or at least I) have no idea when #2 will be finished. I believe Mr. K. is working on it, though. So in the not-so-far-away future, I hope. Good to have ya here! ;D sword

Greetings, Gaudentius, I am Bookworm (or book), the site's administrator. Feel free to PM me with questions, comments, or if you just want to tickle spoilers out of me Mr. Author, as I like to call him, unfortunately hasn't gotten very far on his sequel. I'm hoping he'll have it done by next year, though.

KB, if you were sittin' next to Mr. Author, then yes. I had the neon orange messenger bag that day.
There hasn't been a Wondercon that big in over 5 years. You picked a good one to come share your work!
Shame on me for not paying attention to the booth then. It wasn't until I saw the pictures on the website that I noticed all the work you put into it. Pajo, the crossbow, the pillars . . . wow!
I'm exceptionally glad that I stopped at the booth. Tell Mr. Author to hurry up, or I'll have to hire Dominer to hunt him down . . . even though he's a bit gimpy now.

who's gimpy, Mr. Author or Dominer? ?? ;D Neon orange messenger bag. Wow. Impressive! p.s. What was Jango (or Boba?) Fett doing at WonderCon??? And, more importantly, why did no one get his "autoprint" for me? ??

Hey, gaudentius... I looked up "Snow Crash." It looks pretty interesting. I have just recently gotten into the cyperpunk (and its cousin steampunk) genre. There are mixed reviews on the amazon site. What in particular grabbed you in Snow Crash?

Hi j, Good to have you onboard! bookworm (the administrator for this forum) has a news column at the top of the page, although I don't know how often it will be updated. I have a blog on www.the3pillars.com which is updated anywhere from weekly to monthly. And you're right...that one doesn't count! *Post - out!*

jclark is from the amazon forums, where they say all kinds of weird stuff. I find it's easier to just play along, col. ^_^ No, there isn't currently a newsletter, though there may be one in the future *shrugs* Not much happens here at the moment, so it would be awfully short.

Missed you horribly, sword! Oh, by the way, I don't think that I congratulated you on making 'Adept'! Well done! The first, I believe...

Yay, I feel so loved! Or, as my brother's professor says "Oh joy, oh bliss, oh rapture unforeseen." Thank yer, ladies and gentlemen, thank yer. (Yes, I recently watched You've Got Mail).
I <3 The Puppy Song!
What were we talking about, again?
