It used to be the Americans, but no mas. :/
I met a Dutchman in a Mexican restaurant in Carlsbad, once. He was quite tall and had an interesting accent. He said something about Holland and sort of swallowed the O. He was definitely over 6'...and said he had a friend who was even taller. Yipes.

Whooops!
I posted this news in the wrong thread! Sorry!
I have just received new Pajo Art from David Morris! He still wants to tweak it a little, but Pajo looks perfect!

Can you not delete a post, if necessary?
Have you ever read the Cat Who books?

Aye, The Cat Who Could Read Backwards, The Cat Who Ate Danish Modern, The Cat Who Turned On And Off. Each book starts with "The Cat Who." There's about 20, I think. Lilian Jackson Braun.

Nope, never read any of them. They sound like my kind of thing, though.

I think you would like them. They're not very long, not very difficult. It's an easy, straightforward read full of twitching whiskers, pipe tobacco, newspapermen, typewriters and "we never call draperies 'drapes'." Oh, and tomato juice. Lots of tomato juice. With, occasionally, some poison ivy tossed in.

The bartender at the Press Club always looks at Qwill funny when he orders "Double tomato juice on the rocks. . . just pour it straight."

DOUBLE tomato juice? That man has a drinking problem!

Yeah, but not a liquor problem. ;D He's "on the wagon," so he always has to drink seltzer water or somesuch when everybody else is downing their bourbon and whatnot.

Black Cherry? I didn't know it existed...
Oh. My. Goodness. I did it. I finally finished. I'm excited and relieved and tired and I still can't quite believe it. But I did it. I finished my Distinguished.

The qual. I've been working on for the past year. The highest level possible. Nationally recognized in the NRA publications. That sort of thing.
;D
